In principle, the electrode is suitable for joining and surfacing on unstabilized or stabilized chemically resistant CrNi-steels of similar composition. Also for non-corrosive Cr-steels.

With proper use the weld deposit will stand up to temperatures upto 350 ºC.

The weld deposit can take a high polish.

202, 302, 304, 304L, 305, 321, 347

Y: 320 – 390 N/mm²

E(1=5d): 33 – 37 %

Rutile-basic coated electrode with an austenitic-ferric structure (duplex). Resistant to intergranular corrosion and wet corrosion up to 350 ºC. Suitable for joining and surfacing of steels of similar composition.

Also usable for joining between unalloyed or low alloyed steels to stainless steel.

Because of the austenitic-ferritic structure with high mechanical properties and high corrosion resistance the electrode is highly recommended for industries like waste combustion equipment, gas desulphurisation plants, offshore.

Rutile-basic coated electrode for joining and surfacing on base materials of similar kind.
Remarkable feature is its resistance to phosphoric acids, the combination of Mo and Cu on application in sulfuric acids provides very low corrosion degradation.

The contents of 4,5% Mo and about 20% Cr deliver good resistance of the weld deposit to stress corrosion cracks and pitting corrosion in chloride media.
